Cedar Palette LLC ("we", "us", "our") is a remote creative studio based in Hazelwood, MO, providing digital art creation, custom illustrations, graphic artwork, poster and print design, digital commissions, art consulting, creative design services, art portfolio development, digital art resources, and online creative workshops to businesses and individuals worldwide.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you place an order, create an account, or contact us:

Name, email address, billing and shipping address
Payment information (processed securely via Shopify Payments — we never store card details)
Project briefs, reference files, and creative preferences you share with us
Communications via email or our contact form

We also automatically collect certain technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs via cookies and analytics tools.

3. How We Use Your Information

To fulfill and deliver your orders and digital commissions
To communicate about your project status and revisions
To send transactional emails (order confirmations, delivery notices)

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers necessary to operate our business (e.g., Shopify for e-commerce, payment processors, cloud storage for file delivery). All third parties are contractually required to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill orders, comply with legal requirements, and resolve disputes — typically no longer than 5 years after your last transaction.

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or purchasing any service from Cedar Palette LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Cedar Palette LLC provides remote digital creative services including but not limited to: digital art creation, custom illustrations, graphic artwork, poster and print design, digital commissions, art consulting, creative design services, art portfolio development, digital art resources, and online creative workshops.

3. Orders & Commissions

All orders are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Custom commissions require a detailed brief submitted at checkout or via email.
Timelines are estimates and may vary based on project complexity and revision rounds.
We reserve the right to decline any commission that conflicts with our values or capabilities.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive commercial license to use the delivered artwork for the agreed purpose. Cedar Palette LLC retains the right to display the work in our portfolio unless a confidentiality agreement is signed. Resale, redistribution, or sublicensing of raw files is prohibited without written consent.

5. Revisions

Each commission includes up to two (2) rounds of revisions. Additional revisions are billed at our standard hourly rate. Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.

6. Delivery

All deliverables are provided digitally via download link or email. Physical prints, where offered, are shipped via tracked mail. Cedar Palette LLC is not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping carriers.

7. Limitation of Liability

Cedar Palette LLC's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of St. Louis County, Missouri.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Refund Policy

Effective date: July, 2026

1. Digital Products & Downloads

Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales of digital art files, resources, templates, and workshop recordings are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed or the file delivered.

2. Custom Commissions

Custom artwork is created specifically for each client. The following refund schedule applies:

Before work begins: Full refund minus a 5% processing fee.
After initial sketch/concept delivery: 50% refund.
After final artwork delivery: No refund.

If we are unable to complete your commission due to circumstances on our end, you will receive a full refund.

3. Online Workshops

Workshop registrations may be cancelled for a full refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. Recorded workshop purchases are non-refundable once accessed.

4. Physical Prints

If your physical print arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will offer a replacement or full refund at our discretion. We do not accept returns for buyer's remorse on physical items.

5. Art Consulting & Portfolio Development

Consulting sessions cancelled more than 24 hours in advance are fully refundable. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable. Completed consulting deliverables (written reports, portfolio reviews) are non-refundable.

6. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, email us at help@cedarpalette.com with your order number and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
